Our favourite sailor Adele Jackson has again skippered the winning team in the 2010 Women’s State Keelboat Championships held in May. Amid strong competition on the waters of Matilda Bay, Western Australia, her Jackson Racing Team sailed its Foundation 36 yacht superbly to win the championship for the third year running.
Adele and Jackson Racing Team is proudly supported by Shock & Oar. This year they looked hot in our flame-red Honolulu long sleeve T with twill caps in contrasting mustard. For more information click here

S&O Teams up with designer Alison Cotton.
We are excited to be working with Alison on a new range of men’s and women’s styles for 2010. Alison Cotton, the woman behind the Joveeba fashion label, won ‘Innovative Designer of the Year’ in last year’s Mercedes-Benz WA Fashion Awards and her label is regularly featured in fashion mags Harper’s Bazaar, Madison, Shop Til you Drop and Grazia.
Alison says she is thrilled about working with another West Australian brand in a niche market.
“Shock & Oar is all about classic styles, casual feel and comfortable
fits which really appeals to me. The idea for an Australian nautical clothing brand is an untapped market, so it’s great to be along for the ride as Shock & Oar makes its place at the top of this niche market,” Alison said. Seven teams took part in the match racing regatta including four coached by World Number 2 Match Racing skipper, Torvar Mirsky. Wearing our white women’s Santorini tees, Adele’s crew sailed admirably, just missing out on a place in the finals on a count-back! We look forward to Adele and her crew successfully defending their 2009 Women’s Keel Boat Champion title, proudly supported by Shock & Oar.
